Pumpkin Spice Socks are knitted in sport weight yarn, cuff down with afterthought heel construction. The leg & foot are knitted in 2 contrasting colors using the mosaic technique to give the pattern. The great thing with mosaic is you are knitting with 2 colors but only using 1 at a time. 

I designed these socks for a few reasons, sports weight gives cosy socks for the fall & winter times, knits up quicker, also the mosaic technique of a combination of knitting knit stitches & slip stitches, provides a comforting rhythm when you are knitting. The pattern is written in multiple of sizes, using both written & charted instructions. Ideal pattern for someone wanting to try knitting in 2 colors but without having to worry about color-work knitting. 

These are the perfect socks to keep your feet warm or to give as gifts, plus you can create a few pairs in multiple colors.

• Malabrigo Arroyo in Sunset (MC): 1 skein, or approx 153 (191, 235, 295) yds/140 (175, 215, 270) m of DK/sport weight yarn

• Malabrigo Arroyo in Choco (CC): 1 skein, or approx 66 (82, 104, 131) yds/60 (75, 95, 120) m of DK/sport weight yarn

c - leg length: 6 (7.5, 7.5, 7.5)"/15 (19, 19, 19) cm

Foot and leg lengths are provided for reference as these can be knit to preference.

Recommended to be worn with 0.75"- 1"/2 cm-2.5 cm negative ease at foot circumference and 0.5"- 1"/1.5 cm-2.5 cm negative ease at foot length. Model is wearing a size 2 with 1.5"/4 cm negative ease at foot circumference.
