Meet the Crossing Twigs Shawl

Crossing Twigs Shawl was inspired by trees in the winter. The cable motif of the border, featuring lots of twists and turns, is reminiscent of leafless trees with branches and twigs crossing each other.
The shawl is a triangular shawl with slightly crescent-shaped upper corners; it is worked from the neckline down using the main color for the body and contrast color for the border. The border connects to the live stitches of the body as it is worked.

Natalia Pleshko of Natalia Yarncraft

Natalia designs patterns for makers who love to knit and crochet. When possible, she creates her designs in both crafts, so knitters and crocheters can enjoy the same design, but using their preferred craft. Natalia likes to explore different techniques and explain them in her patterns as easily as possible. Both fun and practical, she loves to use up yarn to the last inches and shares in some of her patterns how you can do it too.
