Meet the Gently Flowing Pullover

The Gently Flowing Pullover is a stockinette circular yoke pullover with short rows that create a curvature in the body shaping. This curvature, inspired by the gentle flow from one phase of life to the next, is emphasized with the use of a contrasting color and a round of decorative eyelets. Life is always full of unexpected twists and turns, and I love to embrace those bends in the path.

Whether I’m making my clothing or purchasing it, my top priority is comfort, and I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot when I find something that’s both comfortable and suitable for an evening out. In my mind, the Gently Flowing Pullover hits the jackpot. You can style it with a cozy pair of sweatpants, jeans, dressy black slacks, or a long, flowy skirt.

Jessica Brist of Snickerdoodle Knits

Jessica Brist, the knitting pattern designer behind Snickerdoodle Knits, prefers to look at designing through a deeper, more emotional lens. She believes that, as humans, we all experience the same core emotions, and she chooses to design patterns that address these emotions to tell “the relatable stories of living.” After connecting with many folks who felt alone and misunderstood, she realized that the very aspects that make us feel like outcasts can be the aspects that bring us together, because thereareothers that understand. Her mission is to help folks feel supported, inspired, and empowered; whether that be through her designs, in her work as a mentor for designers via the Pattern Design Circle, or in her personal life.
